Terms of Business

Delivery

  1. All our products at SaleFurniture4U include free direct home delivery. Our furniture is transported directly to your home by a specialist furniture logistics business. Their staff are specially trained in delivering furniture and will unpack the article, place as per your request and remove packaging afterwards.
  2. Please note they do not deliver on weekends or bank holidays.
  3. All goods ordered by you will be delivered within the Delivery Time quoted from the date of your order, unless we agree with you an extended period for delivery immediately upon receipt of your order. Please always refer to the delivery times quoted for each item, which can be found in the product description box. Should we be unable to deliver within said period, or within any extended period agreed with you in writing, we will if we can offer you a new delivery date. You may accept this offer of a new delivery date but you are under no obligation to do so and you may instead cancel the order and seek a refund of the purchase money paid by you. Such refund will be made to you within thirty days of your request. Please also note that occasionally, the manufacture of your furniture may be delayed. This can be for various reasons such as material shortages, import delays or higher than anticipated demand.
  4. Unless agreed by a member of staff at SaleFurniture4U, where an order contains more than one item, all items will be delivered at the same time once all items are available.
  5. Where a delivery date has been agreed with our carrier but the Buyer isn’t present to receive the delivery we at SaleFurniture4U reserve the right to charge the customer a minimum of £25 to cover part of the cost of the failed delivery.
  6. An order may be cancelled at any time between the placement of the order and 7 working days following delivery of the goods. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by letter, fax or e-mail.
  7. Upon delivery an adult must be available at the address to check and acknowledge receipt in a safe and satisfactory condition.
  8. Risk or loss and damage of product(s) passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of delivery first attempted by us.
  9. If you are having work done to your home, please be aware that building and decorating projects can be delayed. If you are unable to take delivery of your furniture when it is ready, we will store it for you free of charge for 21 days. Beyond this period, we will charge a storage fee of £25 per week.
  10. We are unable to deliver to areas outside of mainland UK, for example Ireland, Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and the Scottish Islands.

Service

At SaleFurniture4U our aim is to provide you with good quality products, however if in the event that the goods received by you are for any reason either faulty or damaged, you should contact us in writing within 48 hours. Either contact us by phone on 0844 701 6547, or by email on enquiries@salefurniture4u.co.uk

In that event, we will either replace the goods, or repair them within your home, if either of those courses of action is acceptable to you. You have the right, in the event that the goods supplied are either faulty or damaged, to have the goods returned to us, by arrangement with our Customer Service Department, and to have a refund of the purchase money paid by you.

Alternatively, you may agree to accept the supply by us of replacement goods, subject to the same terms and conditions as in the supply of the original goods. None of these remedies mentioned in any way affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended), or otherwise.

Order Cancellations

If you order over the phone or online you have a legal right to cancel your order within 7 days of receiving your goods. All items returned must be in a perfect condition, and there will be a collection charge of £75. You will be asked to confirm the change or cancellation in writing. Warranties and Liability

All goods supplied by SaleFurniture4U come with a manufacturer’s warranty of 12 months.

The buyer shall provide SaleFurniture4U with any information as is required to claim under the manufacturer’s warranties and this may include providing photographic evidence. In the event of a claim, the Buyer shall first contact the Customer Service Department at SaleFurniture4U.

Insofar as is permitted by law, our only liability to you under these terms and conditions will be, at our sole discretion, to make good any shortage or non-delivery, to replace or repair any goods which are received by you in a damaged or defective state or to refund to you any sums actually paid by you for the goods in question. We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem you notify to us and will have no liability to you for any failure or delay in delivering goods or any damage or defect in goods delivered which is caused by any event or circumstance which is beyond our reasonable control.

Products

The quantity and description of the Products are set out by SaleFurniture4U. We reserve the right to make any changes in the specification of the Products which do not materially affect their quality or performance required to conform with any applicable statutory requirements where the Products are supplied to the Seller’s specification.

Please note our photographs are for illustrative purpose only, and may not exactly match the product itself.

Please be aware that all furniture has variants of colour and we therefore cannot guarantee exact colour matches. Colour variation can also occur due to the different properties of computer display equipment being used to view the product.

Placing an Order

You can order online simply by clicking the ‘Purchase’ button next to the item you wish to buy and when you have completed shopping click on the ‘Checkout’ button, which takes you to our order form. You may then enter your personal information and credit card details and submit your order via our secure server. Alternatively, you can place your order by calling our sales on 0844 701 6547 or by emailing us at enquiries@salefurniture4u.co.uk. We will then call you back to take your order over the telephone.

Changing your Order

As soon as you realise that you need to change your order please contact a member of staff on 0844 701 6547 or by emailing us at enquiries@salefurniture4u.co.uk. We will then call you back to take your order over the telephone. You will be asked to confirm the change or cancellation in writing. If you amend or change your order, you may find there are changes to your delivery timescale and/or the price you pay for the item (as you’ll be charged the current selling price on the day you amend or cancel the order)

Methods of Payment

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Switch/Maestro, Solo & Delta.

If you decide that you do not wish to submit your credit card details on-line, but you still want to purchase products from SaleFurniture4U, simply contact a member of staff by telephone on 0844 701 6547, or by email at enquiries@salefurniture4u.co.uk. We will then contact you to confirm your order and a member of staff can take your credit card details over the phone.

Confidentiality

As per the Data Protection Act of 1984 and our obligations as laid down by World Pay Services, we at SaleFurniture4U strictly adhere to all requirements regarding our customer's confidentiality. We will not pass your details on to any third party.

Business Policies

All orders are subject to our full terms and conditions (above). Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Standard conditions of sale.

  1. Definitions
    1. 1.1   "Buyer" means the person who buys or agrees to buy the Products from the Seller.
    2. 1.2   "Conditions" means the terms and conditions of sale set out in this document and any special terms and conditions agreed in writing by the Seller.
    3. 1.3   "Delivery date" means the date specified by the Seller when the Products are to be delivered.
    4. 1.4   "Products" means those goods specified.
    5. 1.5   "Price" means the price for the Products including carriage, packing and VAT.
    6. 1.6   "Seller" means SaleFurniture4U
    7. 1.7   "Consumer" shall bear the meaning ascribed in section 12 under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977
